We stayed in the bunk house for 5 nights. We enjoyed the boat tour, kayaking and mountain biking. We loved the quiet mornings and evenings at the dock. The staff is frendly and seem to love what they do.

I loved this campground. We used it as a base camp for our kayak island camping. The campground is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Bill and his dog Johnny were excellent hosts, even taking the time to help me back in to a difficult spot. The views here are amazing and the trails are clear and filled with history. The showers are warm and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Bill treats the campsite like an extension of his yard and keeps the landscape impeccable. Iwould love to return someday.

We made reservations for two kayaks. A nice lady named Alison told us that we could cancel them for only a 15% charge. Our trip plans fell through to where we couldn't make it to Stonington. When we called to cancel the reservations Phil tried to give us the pleasure of charging us 50% or make another reservation. We then tried to make reservations for a trip in August, but only if we paid full price up front....all while being less than polite or understanding about the situation. This has not a very pleasant experience from someone we had heard nothing but great things about!

Took a half day guided kayak trip. Pricing in line with other outfitters. Equipment in great shape and our guide Cody was helpful in setting the boats up for everyone; he was knowledgeable about the wildlife, islands, local industry etc. Fun and interesting
